With the Squid Game's first Netflix series, Hoyeon, a South Korean actor and model was a hit with the world. As a result of her breakthrough performance on the show, Hoyeon won the Screen Actors Guild award for the Outstanding Performance of a Female actress in a Drama Series and was awarded an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Hoyeon hails from Myeonmok-dong in Seoul. Her modeling career in 2011 when she was freelancer model and was spotted walking in Seoul Fashion Week. Seoul's Next Top Model was her fourth season. She finished as the runner-up. Her international debut came at the end of 2016 when Louis Vuitton offered her an exclusive contract worldwide.
